Now — here's the part most people don't realize about ceramic finishes on metal products.
Many so-called "ceramic" finishes are essentially just paint. A ceramic-flavored coating sprayed onto the surface. Pretty for a while. Chips eventually.
We're using sol-gel nano-hybrid glazing. MAGFAST ceramic isn't sitting on top of the aluminum — it's bonded to it, chemically and mechanically, during an application process at over 60,000 volts. Then fired at a mild 356°F for maximum longevity.
Through this process, the ceramic actually grows 'into' the metal, becoming part of its structure.
