Recycling
In the US, chargers and power banks are classified as 'e-waste'. Some cities will collect them with your other trash, although they may require that your e-waste is identified separately from your general waste.
If your city doesn't offer e-waste collection, the safest way to dispose of your charger, power bank or any electronic device is to identify the recycling drop-off center that's closest to you. To do so, click this link:

Also, large electronic retailers – such as Best Buy or Staples – usually have an e-waste bin for you to drop off unwanted products.
