Just a quick note to say thank you — really, thank you — for your amazing patience, and to update you on shipping.
First, some excellent news:
Every new product we’ve offered for pre-order (or as investor perks) is now:
✔️ in the warehouse, or
✔️ on the way to the warehouse, or
✔️ in the final stages of production.
So yes — Gen2 is not only the most advanced charging system of its kind, it’s here, and shipping has started.
Now, my apology:
Because these are the very first production runs of each product, some are taking a little longer than expected. And not everything will arrive in time for Christmas.
We were shooting for the holidays — and we came close — but I'm sorry to say we’re not quite there.
Where Things Stand
Tens of thousands of units are shipping in time for the holidays.
Many more are landing early in the new year.
To make it easy to track, we’ve set up a detailed status page where you can see expected shipping date for each product, by pre-order date.
Why Quality Takes Time
When I first got into this business over a decade ago, I met the brilliant inventor Chris Hawker. He shared something that’s stuck with me ever since:
“A great product is great forever — even if it arrives a little late.
A bad one is bad forever, even if it arrives tomorrow.”
That’s not an excuse — it’s just the truth. And with Gen2, we’re aiming for great. The team has worked flat out all year, and we believe the results speak for themselves.
I think you're going to be thrilled.
What's Taken So Long?
There’s a four-month (!) timeline for even existing products to go from factory order to warehouse delivery. That’s just standard in international manufacturing:
Weeks for parts sourcing
Weeks for production
Weeks at sea
Weeks for customs and inspection
Now layer on MAGFAST’s obsession with detail, and the fact that these are first production runs — and, yep, things take a bit longer.
What We're Doing About It
We’ve diverted part of our budget to fly in as many units as we can. Flying is wildly more expensive than sea shipping, but (given that we can’t get everything to everyone without putting ourselves out of business) we want as many of you as possible to experience these gorgeous new products during the holidays.
That said, one item we can’t fly:
Air Pro.
It’s our flagship, and it’s heavy — over 3.5 lbs, including packaging. Flying in thousands just isn’t viable (financially or environmentally). So it’s coming by sea, and the first units arrive on December 23. Not in time to get them to you for the holidays … but the earliest deliveries will go out very soon.
