MAGFAST Gen1 – What happened to the Pro Kit?

Over the past year, we’ve shared updates like this many times — in emails, livestreams, short videos, and status pages — but for anyone catching up, here’s the quick summary:

MAGFAST Gen1 has been officially discontinued. That includes the original lineup: Extreme, Life, Air, Wall, Road, Time, plus the Hello Kit and Pro Kit bundles.

We are no longer manufacturing these products.

We wish we could have delivered Gen1 to every single person who placed a pre-order. We shipped tens of thousands of units, but production ultimately just took too long. We take full responsibility for the disappointment. No excuses.

Our way of getting the best result for everyone, given these circumstances, is in two parts:

1. Gen2 - a brand-new, much higher-performance range that’s now shipping

2. MAGBucks - credits to buy Gen2, based on a very generous allocation against your original pre-order value.

Why Gen2 is the Best Way Forward

We have invested the past 18 months in completely transforming our design, engineering and manufacturing process. Our first Gen2 product was conceived only months ago, and it’s already arriving in our warehouse.

Technology moves fast. Gen1 was highly innovative in its time, the first and only mobile-device charging ecosystem — but Gen2 is on a whole new level.

If you pre-ordered Gen1 products that never shipped, we’ve issued you MAGBucks worth double the highest retail price of every unshipped item — even if you paid less during promotions.

If an item retailed for $100, and you paid $60?

This is our way of making things right — and giving you access to products that are genuinely superior to what you originally ordered.

Why MAGBucks Cover up to 50% of Each Order

We’d love to cover more. Truly.

But here’s the reality:

Gen2 products are significantly more capable and more expensive than Gen1.

More importantly, manufacturing, shipping, and support require real resources. If we allowed MAGBucks to cover 100% of every order, we simply wouldn’t have the cash flow to make and deliver the actual products. This doesn’t just help us, it allows us to help everyone who pre-ordered Gen1.
