How to enable fast wireless charging on your Samsung

Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 is the new wireless charging standard from Samsung. It delivers a 10W+ charge for your Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra, as well as the S10e, S10, S10+, Note10 and Note10+.

Unlike standard wireless charging, which works by default on compatible devices, you may need to activate fast wireless charging on your Samsung phone. You can do this by going to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery. Then you can scroll to More battery settings. Here, you will have the option to toggle fast wireless charging on or off. If it is turned off, the smartphone should still be able to be charged wirelessly, but it might just take a little longer.

How to enable wireless charging on Android phones that don’t already support it

If you have an Android phone that doesn’t support wireless charging, you can still add the function. You will have to buy a third party wireless adaptor, that fits to the back of your phone and plugs into the charging port. This will allow you to utilize the convenience of wireless charging, as the adaptor will convert the charge from the charging pad and transfer it to the phone through the port.
